Hello all

We're soon to be ex-motorhome owners - decided it's just not the way we want to do things. Whilst on the Oxon Hall site at Shrewsbury got to chatting with an Eriba owner - previously I'd only ever seen one at Lyme Regis last year. Visited AL yesterday - Brian really helpful - fell in love with Puck L layout and design.
VW Camper without the VW - and bigger.

So, whilst we're waiting to sell the MH I'm learning all I can about Eribas and keeping an eye out for a Puck L with the right configuration - External gas locker - no shelf under the front window - so around 2001/2002 or earlier

A number of threads here have already been of great help but I have a few questions to ask - they may seem simple but the last time I was in a caravan was 1964 or therabouts - so please bear with me.

Welcome to the forum. You will find that there are quite a few Puck L owners or ex-owners on here who will be only too pleased to answer your queries.

In the first instance it would be a good idea to use the search facility to see if your question has already been discussed, but please feel free to re-open old threads or to ask supplementary questions.

Best of luck with your search for your ideal Eriba.

Nice to have you onboard, we downsized this year from a motorhome to a Triton. We found that with the motorhome you had to keep travelling onward and not going back. Great when you are young as we got older and after twenty odd years of motorhomes we wanted something more relaxing.

Thanks Tomored, I know what you mean. The main problem we have found is that when we get somewhere we want to tour the area, visit NT properties etc etc. and MH plus small car park/narrow lanes etc just doesn't work. We were either faced with getting a bigger MH and towing a small car, or just changing tack completely. We're just not the sort of folk who can pitch up and spend 4 days sitting in an awning - there's too much UK to explore and so little time left to do it

The MH is ideal if you are - as you say - on the move the whole time but then it's all about choice - First task is to sell the MH, get a tow car (convenient timing as my car is a manual and I have to switch to auto 'cos of bad leg anyway) Hopefully AL will be able to assist in finding the right van.

Many of us have changed from motorhome to Eribas. The ability to move and explore is a big plus.
