Tyron tyre bands? sorry wrong section

I have added this to my Flat post! but wondered how many others have them and if they consider a worthwile purchase. After a recent flat tyre issue I have enquired about run flats but have been told that the company doesn't think these are possible for a caravan tyre size.

The other solution is tyre monitoring system but this would only advise of an issue to allow a pull over rather than travelling on a flat or total disintegration of the tyre.

Please move to the correct section as I made an error posting it in here

Our Triton came from AL second-hand with Tyron bands already fitted.

To date, I've had no problems with tyres so I can't comment on how good they are. I do make sure that I always carry the multilingual instructions and the special Allen key that is needed for removing and refixing them.

I seem to recall that my caravan insurers gave a discount because Tyron bands are fitted.

Thanks Aaron, I know many have towed for years with no problem but I have only towed for just over a year and my luck is such I had a flat! so want to be sure I can minimise risks.
