Having just registered, I thought it would be the polite thing to do and say a big hello to everyone on the forum. I currently have a SWIFT Challenger 540 and have been touring with my wife Stephanie for nearly 8 years. We originally had a Penine folding camper which we loved but now that the children had grown up, we decided to get a new/newer van and we have our hearts set on an Eriba Troll 530. This weekend we drove from Billericay down to AL and met with Brian who showed us around and helped us to identify the right layout for us. I really like the newer taller models, with the new bathrooms and front entrance door, so I guess that will limit me to either a new model or used 2 or 3 year old one.

Brian confirmed that the last 2016 530 model was sold by AL only that morning so we have left our details with him and we patiently wait. I have also sent a message to Dom at the Eriba Shop (I think he is on holiday at the moment) and we'll see what he can offer. I believe that Jandi still have a 2016 model but that might be a little to far.

Anyway, hi again to all.

Neither do I Tamored. I'm quite impatient at the best of times and when I have my heart set on something, the waiting can be .......painful.

What are members views on purchasing from AL and Dom at Eriba Shop? What are the pro's and con's I can expect (apart from the distances)..thanks

Hi Tonks, we live in Colchester and picked up our Troll 540 from AL. Dealt with Cameron who is pleasant and very nowledgeable with Eribas. We have no complaints or regrets, so good luck. Paul , PS, if you want a good look around ours you are welcome.

Thanks Paul, always nice to hear about good customer service. We did like the 540 model due to the huge rear lounge, but Mrs T fancied the slightly bigger front dinette area and extra wardrobe space....and thank you for the offer, very kind.
