The word "Shower" and Eriba should not be used in the same sentence, it is the same as combining Smart car to "Land speed record". Both impossible and both should not be attempted. Brian.

I have to say that I agree; if a shower is essential when drawing up one's list of features in a future caravan then all Eribas should immediately be crossed off the list. I even find it difficult to pee in ours and have become an accomplished contortionist in my attempts. (I seem to remember good old Steamdrivenandy going on at length about this some years ago 'addressing the bowl?')
Also, at the back of our Thetford, the gap between it and the wall is infilled with a piece of wood painted in a sort of chalky white finish. Showering would soak this, the wood would swell and it would be a full washroom dismantling job to put right again. Ours will, therefore, remain dry.
Still, I'm a great believer in every man and his goat so if you want to try then go for it.

I must admit that it's more of a spray down than a shower but it's certainly possible if you're 5'2" and no other facilities are available, Must admit that it's always been in the summer when open windows and the shower curtain hung out of the window to dry has meant that the washroom has been dried out after use. Hot water helps too!
Maggie has got it right, the shower is more of a spray down as there is nowhere to attach the shower head. The Eriba washrooms have slightly changed over the years. My previous 2012 Familia had a swivel toilet and this took a lot of floor space making any movement a considered thought. The 2015 layout is more ergonomic with a better use of the space, they have gone back to the bench seat toilet which has released more space. The shower curtain that comes with the van covers three sides of the wall leaving the window area unprotected. The showering position would be against the door in the tall part of the washroom. I could see it been an option If you like wild camping which is better than no shower at all.
Personally we don't use the shower as we use the site facilities with unlimited warm water, the12 litre tank wouldn't last long using it along with the daily washes. Myself and Mrs Poptop could use it in an emergency as we are both 5'2", however since we bought it our shower curtain is still neatly folded as it came from the factory...
When I go on holiday I like to pop my top!

Poptop320 - I think you've nailed it Sir!
When I was thinking about purchasing a 540 I visited AL and spent half a day looking round the old stock and the new stock and chatting with Jason. We both said (but his might 'said' have been sales pitch) that the change from a swivel toilet to a bench toilet had freed up quite a bit of space in the washroom and that neither of us could understand why Eriba hadn't thought of it before. For sure it can only be a matelot shower even in a bench-toilet washroom, simply because after one's dampened one's surface area one has to let go of the shower head to apply the gel, don't you know. But at the end of the day common sense must prevail. BigMan (lets say Robbie Coltrane?) showering in an Eriba? It would double the viewing figures for Carry on Camping and be more amusing than Michael McIntyre on toppest of top form. How's about our Twiggy using the same facility? Hmmm, you know what? I think it could work!

use mine for a refresh, have long hair, there is only so long can go until hair gets unmanageable when on a rally, then there is the times body aches...
one thing to mention is the mirror, unless you have the window blind down the window open modesty is open to view by passers by...
also had the washroom to bits for various reasons and its all dry, can see by looking in loo outside door how constructed, each to own as mentioned.
the ultra heat helps to dry and standing on a micro fibre cloth, then rub down any splashes with micro fibre cloth. ring out and dry outside...
( personally have converted to bodhi towels they quick to dry and light.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Microfibre-Towe...owel&th=1&psc=1
whoops slight drift)
should you decide the washrooms to small there is no reason not to have a shower head, long pipe, a tent outside window and a cat litter tray to stand in, after all grey water should be disposed properly.. not tipped into the river as seen on a rally.. from a grey container.....
we warm 2 kettles water and add cold to the container, manage ok..
there are times I wonder if converting the kitchen sink tap to a shower head tap could be beneficial, specially when washing the big pan
any ho another drift.
welcome

well, what works for me is a wash down if wild camping or the body wipes that you can buy. To wash my hair I use a small watering can or a bowl outside mind you it does wake you up with cold water over the head first thing and my shrieks can be heard!!!
