Can't provide a postcard so a link will have to do. This of course only applies if you are using the MS Edge browser bundled with Windows 10. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...-microsoft-edge

I personally found that following the free upgrade to Windows 10 that my PC started acting up in a few odd way. The latest update apparentley stops webcams working for which MS are attempting to find a solution although not before September. For some strange reason known only to themselves, the usual 30 roll back to an earlier version which some users tried in order to get their webcams working again, has now been changed to 10 days so for those who missed that unknown deadline - tough. All in all, a bit of a mess imho so will stay with Windows 7 for the foreseeable future with which all my currently installed programmes are working as they should.

I use Firefox.

Click on three bars at extreme right of top icon bar
Click 'Options'
Click 'Privacy'
Click 'Clear recent history'

If required:
Under 'History' select 'Firefox will never remember history'
Restart Firefox

In waterfox (the x86 version of firefox) select tools\options

when it opens select privacy

click on show cookies

there you have the option to delete cookies

also the option to clear history when it closes

presumably firefox is similar?
