This subject was mentioned before but I think it is worth repeating for them see who are going to buy a new van, previous vans had a separate service book or the service stamp was put in the manual.
However new vans now do not have any reference to a service diary and you will have to collect all the relevant service paperwork and damp stamp separate and keep it safe. I would assume that Hymer will have a digital record that you have carried out the service obligations for the warranty...

May I ask, how long is the warranty on a new van?

New vans have a two year Hymer warranty as well as the 6 year water ingress warranty, only as long as it has been regularly serviced and damp checked.
The two year warranty is stepped:
1st year is comprehensive and includes all original fit components.
2nd year excludes tyres, glass, paint& brightwork, soft furnishings,carpets floor coverings,work surfaces, window catches, electrical connections,natural movement of internal doors and furniture, audio equipment.
