In my Fame at Last puclication, I mentioned not leaving home without a botle of gin.

For my forthcoming birthday I have just booked Carole and I into the Bombay Sapphire distillery in Hampshire, using a voucher I was given two years ago. They are so busy I couldn't get on my birthday and anyway Carole was booked to do some vastly important stuff for WI too - I mean, how could she?

Any Eribaists done it?

No but I've done one better.

I've had a pee in Lake Vrynwy which is (was) the only source for the water they use (used?). They insisted on the water from Lake Vrynwy.

Do they still use it now they've moved to Hampshire? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombay_Sapphire

That Welsh addition is known to be so weak it wouldn't affect it. They apparently tanker water down from there in unmarked vehicles. Will find out next month
