I am trying to enjoy this programme but having great difficulty as the sound recording is of such bad quality as if all the dialogue is through winter scarves and mufflers.

Why is it that the previous programmes before and after on different channels were perfectly clear yet this programme was not?

I raised this issue several times last autumn, the TV season for new drama when Last Tango in Halifax was on the telly with exactly the same problem and a very strong wave of discontent and complaints from many other viewers. I have complained to the makers, not Chan 4.
