See these are now available on fleabay. Someone must have resurrected the design and manufacture.

The button causes problems and not had any email form the seller with regards to the fault. Plus quiet a few others have also complained and found issues with them.

Well spotted , somebody must have taken over the company or they have copied them, the original website still shows out of stock? I am a big fan of these we have had the small set 8"diameter with the button for 7 years now and still going strong.
Very simple and they do work like a mini oven..

I believe that the original company was run by two ladies, one of them died and thats when the skillets stopped been sold. I have seen these go for £90 second hand when you couldn't buy them new..

Hi Pop I ordered one and have used it and while a great idea and I know the ladies had an excellent product these ones are not the same. The button has welded onto the pans or the button falls out. All of us that bought them have the same issue and I have emailed the seller and heard nothing.

It looks like it is a new company that has taken over the production of double skillet pans, here is their website

The about us link suggests its ownership is new..

The original skillet was in Kent and this new one is in Lancashire

"My wife and I have been involved in manufacture and sourcing of parts and accessories for camper vans
since 1978, and recently got involved with the manufacture of the Double Skillet pan, having used one for over two decades"

Shame they do not reply to any of the complaints. They are not a cheap item and it looks like they are not fit for purpose !

He has replied on a Motorhome forum and said he has new handles but not sure when they would be arriving. However he does not seem to answer his emails. He previously ran a company called Bluebird Awnings. I think he may be a hobbyist that is dabbling and sourced the skillets. He has had them coated on the outside. I did ask what the coating is and again couldn't get a reply other than its safe. However if using the skillet on top then steam will run into the pan below it so I would prefer to know what the coating is before I use it in that way. The first time I used it there was a smell from the coating, it seems to have settled but I would like to know. Will give him a while and then call up if I hear nothing more about my handles or the coating..
