Thanks folks, it will last at least 2 days and started last night at the Hash when 40+ nutters sang Hashy Birthday while I downed a half of bitter without stopping, known as a down down. Glad I haven't lost the art of gulping.
Today is full of excitement while Carole is at the stunning metrolopolis known as Basingstoke at the Annual Hampshire meeting of the WI.
I will be on the computer all day catalouging the list of my artworks at my one man show on Saturday.
Tonight sees a dual celebration of my birthday and our good friends wedding anniversary at La Parisienne in Romsey, just 8 of us.

Thanks again and Brian the down downs are a forfeit for a celebration of any sort as well as sins/misdemenours on or off the Hash. That evening there were about 10 and everyone got one. The mis-management provide them all out of funds. It was a pint in the old days until ghastly economies were needed so everyone gets a half.

Very belated birthday greetings Derek. Just catching up on everything on the Forum since we got back from France. 10 pages of posts to read, someones been very busy. Still I'm getting there, hope you have had more than a half since your birthday.
