Reich Motor Mover

Following an earlier posting and reponses received and subsequently a little research I have now had a new Reich Motor mover fitted today by Midland Motor Movers ( http://www.midlandmotormovers.co.uk/ ) . All work completed and then followed by a demonstration in just two hours.

I bought my Eriba(1997 530GT) second hand last week and although it's not hugely heavy it is nevertheless virtually impossible to move on my gravel driveway!...........
BUT not anymore and not only that I have a fantastic new toy

It's early days but if the quality is as good as others suggest I would recommend these movers to anyone who struggles with manouvering their Eriba's.

As for the company itself I received a first class service. (compared with plumbers around here whose excuses for not turning up are bare faced lies ).

I telephoned on Sunday to confirm my interest in the Reich Economy (might be economy but not cheap £1050 all in) and they then arranged to call this morning to fit the mover.

All in all 'A Good Day'

Good for you, great result there.

I can honestly say that I've had more fun today with my new mover, shifting my Eriba about than I have had with any of my other toys for ages including the beloved Morris minors!

Depends on the noise but perhaps check you don't have stones stuck in the tyre tread as that makes a lot of noise grinding on the rollers

Richard from Midland Motor Movers fitted a mover on our beautiful Eriba today. He arrived when he said he would, wouldn't even stop for a brew! Just got straight to work. Two and a half hours later the job was done. We can highly recommend him. Very satisfied customers.

Agree, a couple of stones can make a terrible noise, not to mention making a mess of the aluminium rollers!

I have had the same problem, I have learnt now to roll the van slightly forward then brush the stones of the tyres. They stick to the tyres when you are pitched up for a while.
