if I can get the nod from my husband I'll give the chap a call.
I wouldn't hang about too long because something that suits you, is within your price range AND only 20 miles away won't come up too often.

He's finally been persuaded!! :-)
However, Tony Lloyd has a 96 Pan coming in which may be a better bet so I've enquired about that. Am I right you sleep lengthways in a Pan?

No, not in all of them and in fact, a '96 model is, I think classed as a Familia which has 2 layouts, a 310 with a small front dinette (therefore a three berth) but no washroom and a 320 which has a front kitchen and washroom. That one is a two berth. Both are cross van sleepers.
However, in saying that, Tony Lloyd's advert http://www.eribacaravansales.co.uk/eriba...-arriving-soon/ does show it as an old type Pan 2 berth with a front kitchen so it might be the last of the line. Best to ask him.

Today I've noticed something interesting on the AL website http://www.automotiveleisure.co.uk/Pre-owned%20models.html
As well as adding the layout for a pre-2002 Puck, they've also added a layout for what they are calling a pre-2001 Pan Duo. So, perhaps the old style Duo did run beyond 1994 and the distinct colour change.
