I've moved this question from the blog page so that new member Journeyman might get some responses.

Special screw fixings
We bought a new 542 this Autumn in Germany. As part of the deal the suppliers were to carry out some work including the fitting of a fly screen. When we came to collect the van, the fly screen had not been fitted. Due to ferry schedules we had to take the parts and try to fit it ourselves when we got home. We later discovered that we are missing the special screw fittings that fix the timber frame parts of the screen to the van. Does anyone know where these can be sourced. They are circular plastic insets with the screw at right angle that fit into a routed hole in the timber.

Anyone out there with a flyscreen fitted?

Maybe ask the German suppliers who were going to fit the screen for the bits. I'd have thought as a gesture of goodwill they'd supply them to you gratis.

We didn't leave the German suppliers on good terms, many promises were made and not kept. I'll try Jandi.
