When looking at an Eribafolk member's photos of his new Troll, posted on Facebook, I realised that we have no photos of the Tebay site.
He's allowed me to post some of his van leaving Tebay. Also interesting is that the Eriba "Future" in the photo has a cracked front window and I was told that they can't get a replacement for love nor money.

Maybe they should try here

mind you if they don't know about companies like that it doesn't give me a lot of confidence in them

Possibly a touch strong there, I'm sure they would have tried all avenues and they must know of these companies.
They knew where to get the Eriba badges for the old pan that I traded in and seemed very knowledgable on anything I asked them. I met the service manager and most of the tech guys as well and they appeared to know their subject matter. They were completely rebuilding a 3 week old Eriba triton for the insurance company when I was visiting to buy the troll, this had been very badly smashed up in a nasty accident on the east coast when only a few days old and was a totally stripped out shell. Perhaps the window for the future really is unavailable? If not and someone can make it I would be glad to pass the details onto the guys at AVL. I feel confident in dealing with them and I'm hard to please.

I think I'm correct in saying that the very short life span of the "Future" (around 12 months) was because of the problems that Hymer had with fitting and sealing the front window.
However the Snoozers don't appear to have a problem with theirs. Lovely looking vans.
We'd be interested in seeing any more photos of Tebay if any folk have them. (and Lowdhams for that matter).

Here are a couple of Eribas at Lowdhams in Huddersfield, next time I am up there I will take some more pictures. They had a nice indoor display last time I was there..

I may be wrong but I think they made them for 2 years with the latter ones having several more catches on the front window to help seal it.

I think they ended op with 7 catches on the front window
Dave
Hi Dave....Wrong!!! its 10 catches and as Randa said, we have had no problem with our front window.
The Future was made for about 2 years and due to all the over engineering ended up costing more than 2000 euros more (in 2001) than the other Eribas so was discontinued. During the first year it was found the front window was leaking on some of the vans due to its large size and a recall was done to fit the additional latches. Ours has the 10 latches fitted and to date no problems....

There used to be a caravan window manufacturer in Rotterdam, the name escapes me but it used to be etched or cut into the polycarbonate, these windows are almost definitely not made by Hobby / Eriba but purchased in bulk from an outside source, might be worth a try?

10 catches. I'm not sure I could be bothered to ever open the window. Good to hear that they do the job though.
We don't....plenty of other escape routes.....
