I think I am, turkey joint, sausages, sausage rolls gammon joint in the freezer, veg in the fridge and Christmas cake, trifle fruit etc in the fridge.

Goodies laid out on the table along with an array of falling down stuff including pink champers (what else)

Saturday looks like a day in the kitchen slaving over a hot oven with something chilled

So are you ready?

Ready! Still have presents to buy and loads that still need wrapping. Have to go food shopping yet, babysitting my 90 year old Dad 3 days a week is seriously interfering with the shopping. Mind you, any excuse because I don't like shopping. Still it always gets sorted in the end.

I'm surprised in these days of PC we are still able to celebrate (I don't btw as I'm a non believer!) around our own tables, this is a non political statement from Agger, Aggersville for the Eribafolk forum😎

I've not been on this forum long and I'd like to be believe I don't always 'get' the humour but you know

I think some of the comments made make some of you sound like right miserable 'b****rs' !

Surely you're putting on an act ?

and at 66 still get excited and can't wait....spending the night in the Eriba and listening for Santa's bells and the magic of Christmas
