Hi Chris,
A lot of folk know exactly how you feel, as do I. My daughter begged us for a dog when she was 8 or 9 about 12 years ago. So under pressure we got a border collie/lab cross. What a charmer! I didn't think it possible to become so wrapped up in a dog, he honestly became one of the gang and had all of our routines off to a t! Just like your dog, it was real sudden. Last year. We just about got him to an emergency vet in time to see him die. Vet said it was likely a tumor. We were gutted. I still feel emotional thinking about him but the sharp pain does ease. Time is a great healer although it doesn't seem that way at first. We don't have a dog now, not sure if it is a good idea just yet. Some may think it over the top to get so wrapped up in a pet but until you personally experience it you won't understand it. Sad time for you.
Chris B.

Always sad to lose a pet as they are part of the family in most cases.

Chris. So sorry to read about your sad loss. We've been through the same anguish of loosing a true friend a number of times so our thoughts are with you at this time.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your very kind words and thoughts, what a lovely community this is! It's been a difficult Xmas this year but now we've got a new year to look forward to with Bellas' sister, Rosie, I think she'll be in for a lot of fussing 😀!

We are also looking forward to a very full year with our Puck, starting with a Star camp at Keilder Forest in March then the Forum meet in Poole, then the EOC meet in May, and that's just the Spring! So hopefully I shall see some of you there.

Thank you all again and a very Happy New Year to You and Yours,

Chris
