Hello All,

My 61 Eriba runs on the original 10Inch tall, 5 inch wide 5 Stud wheels, (145/80/10). The wheels are in good condition, but I would really like a spare for touring. Being on the roadside with tire levers is not my thing..

Does anyone know where I can get a wheel? I am really struggling to find any, and am thinking I may have to go down the fabrication route.
I have already inquired with one wheel maker, who advised they cant make wheels that small. :(

Hi Stu.
10" 5 stud wheels are new to me. There's been a lot of discussion about 10" Puck wheels and tyres on here over the years but nothing about 5 stud. Here's one such discussion :- inner tubes on 10 inch wheels yes or no ?

I doubt if it'll be of any help as I'm not sure what happened in 1961 but later Eribas used one of two types of T Pole Trailer chassis, ALKO or BPW and I've noticed that the BPW chassis does sometimes have 5 stud axles for increased pay loads. Can't find anything for 10" on their website however.

I've just been in contact with Christophe Brice, the founder of www.forumeribatouring.com who has a huge knowledge of Eribas. He is a really nice bloke and he has come back with the following information:-

Stu. Looking at the above information, all the 10" wheels appear to be 195 and not 145.

. If any of the information is useful to you then please satisfy yourself that the PCD, offset and centre bore is the same as yours.

Randa that was some fast fact finding !! so my caravan should have 8'' wheels ? and someone put 10'' on it at some point in its life?

Some nice wheels there, and I really like the 195's but i am not sure they will fit , the 145 I have at the moment doesn't have much room.

My Fault Stu, I gave Christophe the wrong information. I've re-sent the message. In the meantime I've seen a photo of a Faun (without hub caps) and it does appear to have 5 stud wheels.

Thats ok Randa, I have done some research and I am pretty sure 10 inch 5 std is standard on the faun, and like you say.. 8 inch on the early puck. Its going to be really hard to get a spare, and so far 2 wheel companies say the tools they have cannot make the wheels i need. Darn..
