My troll is French registered, are there any regulations regarding selling it in the UK. ?

Nope - the only change that's required by law is for the reversing light and rear foglight to be swapped over so that the foglight shows on the offside when driving on the left.

Thanks for the useful info guys.....one more thing, I assume that as we are still in the EU. ( for the moment.)!! That there is no import duty to pay. ?

Bryn has a very good idea there. It would avoid you paying to take it back to G.B. When we bought ours (on Le bon coin) there were loads of people calling the owner for it. WHere are you at the moment?

The same thing happened to us...we were viewing within 4 hours of the ad appearing and the sellers phone was ringing constantly! It meant we couldn't bargain over the price, but having seen many an Eriba sell within a day we made the most of being first in the queue at last, and we still had a bargain. Two hours and a bottle of wine later and it was time to get home, organise a bankers cheque and return two days later to fetch Aimee home. As an afterthought, if I was ever selling I too would insist on a bankers cheque, or draft in UK.
