I have a TV and bracket weighing 6Kg total. I want to fix it to underside of rear cupboards in Eriba Pan. Will the cupboards take the weight?

Hi Babara.
Can't help regarding the weight but we used to hang our 16" flat screen TV to the underside of our front cupboards using a Under Cabinet Bracket something like Werbung: THIS and it held up OK. I put an extra plate inside the cupboard and used small nuts and bolts to fix it. We wouldn't travel with the TV mounted however. We had a quick release slide between TV and bracket.

After 12 months however, we removed it as we didn't like the viewing position.

Thanks for your reply re TV bracket. Yours is similar to the one I have and also bought a quick release slide to go with it. I feel happier about going ahead.

I have bought one of these for my Avtex http://www.avtex.co.uk/index.php/accessories/sv6-0.html
I plan to mount it under the top units on the door side of the van, above my feet when I sit up in bed.
As noted above I will also bolt it through the base of the units with a spreading plate inside the units. I will also remove the tv during transit.
I plan to fit a tv/12v socket inside the top units. I will drill a 15mm hole near the mount so I can run the cables up from the back of the TV so they are out of site.
I will try and remember to post pictures when new van collected and mods done.
