It mentions an optional extra of a tracked jockey wheel for £80 to overcome the problem of standard wheels going sideways and digging into soft grass?

I wonder if by tracked jockey wheel they mean the Alko premium jockey wheel. This has a built in nosewight gauge, is an 80mm wide solid rubber wheel and I think has cost me £60/80 extra on my order.

Hmmm that *does* look interesting. Thinking about it I can see that with power movers the jockey wheel would be free to dig in as the weight rotates forward.

The nosewheel gauge looks handy too - I wonder how well that will stand up to the elements?

We're hoping our new 410 will be arriving shortly - may well add this to the post delivery fitting schedule along with sockets and electric heater element.

Robin,
if thinking of one for your new 410 it will cost more than I have stated above. This was the extra cost over and above the standard fit at the factory.

Thanks Colin - I am sort of assuming it's just a straightforward swap out/DIY job - or am I missing something, brain cells aside?

At 80 quid I'd be more worried about it "going west"

That's the one Robin, and a good price. It is a straight forward swap as the pole diameters should both be 48mm.

Buy 10 and get 10% off. Sounds like a bargain.

The Alko Premium Jockey Wheel that Colin mentioned is £120 from the Alko online shop. The "Plus" is £60.00 and the "Heavy duty" is £50
It must be the wider tyre that helps to stop it sinking in the mud.
