AL sent us our pre-ordered Kampa Pop Air 365 Awning for our Troll about three weeks ago. So far we have had it out to look at in the lounge and done some "imagining" of how we would go about putting it up. The weather has put us off having a play at putting it on the Troll yet but we are going to Edinburgh in 3 weeks and have to decide if we are going to take it with us.
The question is has anybody else now got their Pop Air for their Eriba and had chance to try it out for real? If so is there anything you have learnt that would be a useful tip for us? If we do use next trip it we will report back on our experience.
We also got the Kampa carpet for the Pop Air and are not impressed by the quality. As former Outwell tenters we are used to a having a heavy high spec carpet that you can walk on in stocking feet. The Kampa carpet is like a quilted grondsheet made to breathe. As a camper I understand the whole issue of breathability for grass pitches but as an Eriba man I only intend to pitch on hardstandings. I think we will be trawling the market to find a proper quality waterproof camping carpet to fit the Pop Air.
