Good idea John but no. My lunch was not the best, Carole's was good, I made the wrong choice. It was not a pie as we know it, trendy chefs thing and served on a stupid rectangular plate, so the pees could roll off and they served it wrong with chips and not the new potatoes I ordered, they arrived later. AL did the job too. The bar staff were first class and the pub is good, been in many times over the years and see Elvis as well as Jim Etherington. Good Ringwood ales and the toilets are pristine. Of course the view is smashing, especially in low season, across the car park onto a spring tide river, lapping the quay. Lots of black headed gulls, but no one outside eating chips. Car Park low season, got a four hour ticket at something like £1.20, Carole paid. Nice Artisan market buried away in town, lots of crap twee stuff, nice people though. The journey back was easy and I just need to clean her, pack and then Spring Meet here we come. Wonder who I can bore there?
