Hi there and thanks for all the advice. I have an old volvo xc90 and have been told a swan neck and 13 pin assembly will do the trick. Fingers crossed!

I used paint stripper just on the ball. Worked fine, just fell off! Starchem from a car panel shop. Only in 5l size but it is good unlike Nitromors which is useless nowadays. You can always strip the rest of the house with it!

I don't know what the world's coming to. Nitromors doesn't work, you can't buy creosote any more, Mars bars are half the size they used to be but cost the same, Toblerones have every other tooth missing, and, to cap it all, if you buy a Terry's Chocolate Orange the segments are hollowed out on one side instead of being solid.

You can't burn your skin, poison yourself or make yourself fat any more.
