Help with Troll 540 series measurement needed.

I went to our storage facility earlier this morning with the intention of taking a few measurements of our Troll 542 and absentmindedly forgot to take a measuring device along and so reverted to using the old thumb method.

Would someone owning a Troll 540 series van and having easy access to it kindly obtain a couple of measurements for me thereby confirming (or otherwise) the accuracy of my thumb method please? The two measurements (in cm please) that I am needing confirmation of are LR and LS as shown in the following diagram. Thanks in advance.

My rule of thumb method returns LR as being 263cm and LS as being 332cm .

I made it 270cm and 333cm
How crucial is this Deeps? I wouldn't want to be responsible for any innacuracy.

Thanks for that, Tony. Your 270cm measurement when compared to my 263cm might be down to (a) the use of my thumb lol or, (b) the different types of Jockey Wheel used?

I have just fitted the AL-KO Premium Jockey Wheel and these measurements are required for the calibration of the fitted scale. Using my measurements gave a result of an allowable maximum reading of 111kg whilst using your figures results in an allowable maximum of 108.5kg. All in all then, not a lot in it and a lot to be said for my thumb lol.

The offset between the jockey wheel centre and the hitch tow ball socket accounts for the scale reading of 111kg which equates to 88kg on the tow ball which is the maximum allowable on my Mazda CX-5.

Just for interests sake, upon removal of the old jockey wheel I took a weight measurement which brought up a tad over 6kg. The replacement Premium model returns 10.1kg so the extra 4kg weight of the replacement jockey wheel should come in handy for bringing my caravans nose weight up to within a more acceptable range. I've always struggled to get above 55kg in this regard.
