Best of luck from me, I did 1hr 18m 34 s on the hilly Fareham half marathon a few years back, I was going to do the London marathon that year but our daughter arrived that day and from then on I was always away on various tours of duty. Just got back into my running last week, overweight, older but still keen to keep myself fit. Worn Suunto or Polar watches for over 25 years (daily recording heart rates, although I'm 64 my resting pulse is only 52)
Have a safe and injury free run, best of luck on beating your previous time

Well one It's something I never got around to do although I did a lot of distance running in the 70s and early 80s.
I am proud to think I took our eldest daughter, then about 4, twice around the Morfa Stadium track in Swansea. Now in her 42nd year she regularly does half marathons although I'm not sure she'll ever step up to the full one.
