Multimeter

Having had several weeks of car battery problems, I had it replaced this morning and also treated myself to a cheap Maplin's Multimeter.

As a multimeter virgin I'm slowly getting to grips with it but I don't know what the multi function socket that came loose with the multimeter is used for?

Multi Function Socket

However it has a different mini hole arrangement in the top. Rather like a minute rectangular waffle

I got one of those too................ no idea what its for either..................

Mind you I don't understand nuclear physics, the female of the species or why I still pay income tax.

Despite all this the sun still comes up every morning and I somehow muddle through ................ life is like that sometimes.
