New 12v Socket

I would like to fit a 12v socket (car cigarette lighter/power) in my 2015 Troll to charge my phone when I'm off grid.
I am thinking I can just plug into the correct terminal on the Power Supply Unit CSV 409 (Power Pack SE)
Has anyone else done this or have done it the old fashioned way with an inline fuse connection with the battery?

I added two more 3 pin plugs to mine. I did the donkey work, my son did the electrical work.

I've fixed a 12V USB socket inside the front locker, a switched connection to the fluorescent light feed.

In my 2007 Troll and similar models there is a 12v Socket on the end of the strip lights. If you have them in your 2015 Troll all you need is an adapter

Paul,
I have attached two short leads directly to the battery. These each have a 10amp in line fuse and then go on to feed a pair of fridge fans and a 12v supply for the tv. This works fine. It also means if my touch [in]sensitive lights decide to play up and cut the main 12v supply with the bedside switch then these items would continue to run.
