Sad to hear of the death of Peter Sallis, (Clegg in Last of the Summer Wine). Years ago, the wife and I were touring (sans Eriba) in Yorkshire and we were in Holmfirth on a filming day. There are several back alleys which come out on the square by the Café and we arrived at a break in filming.
Sitting in the square were the cast all reading newspapers, Peter facing us and the others facing the other way. Seeing my camera raised, Peter said something to the others and they all turned their seats round to face me. A very nice picture which I will post when I can find it (roll film, hard copies).

He was a wonderful Wallace.
