Hi all,
I've tried to upload photos with a for sale text, and was directed to a German web page?. I uploaded them via that page but from then on I lost it. Could'nt find anything related in search.

Any information appreciated.

Use Nev's guide here, Barny.

Don't mess with the Fotos Hochladen thing. It's a trap.

One other thing - you don't really need to reduce the file sizes to 200KB. I know it makes Nev livid for me to say that , but server space isn't a problem and the uploader will take much, much bigger files than 200KB.

And bigger is always better.

It's not really a trap, Derek. It's just that it's easier to use the method Nev detailed above. He added this post explaining why the Fotos hochladen thing isn't ideal. It's a commercial tie-up, with all the guff in German.

If you want to post photographs which are located somewhere other than on your own PC's hard drive (on an external site like Photobucket, or cloud-based storage like Dropbox or Google Drive), it's probably better to either include a link to the image's location or download it to your own computer first and then use Nev's 'Attach File' method.
