Just found out that we can get an insurance discount if we fit window locks or alarms. Insurer doesn't mind which or what make. Any recommendations? (I don't think I want to make those ones out of plastic tube - I would certainly end up with no fingers!!) And has anyone fitted an extra door lock. If so what sort? NB the insurers strangely don't give a discount for one of those.

Am I alone in feeling that if I had to turn the caravan into a fortress, I'd give it up? Our insurance is about 90E and they don't ask for anything at all.

I agree but I'm happy to get a discount for a reasonable outlay and got a bit worried by scare stories read recently. I wonder do others insure just the van and contents or for liability etc. We met a couple whose van had rolled down a hill and hit another. The brake had failed.
