Troll Lower Trim/Rail Removal

Hello All

Could any kind person advise on how to removal the lower trim rail on my Troll 530 2012. I see they have star head screws on the out side. My question is, how easy is it to pull away what with the sealant/mastic. Basically I want to get to the back of the box frame work to treat the rust, or at least spray some products behind.
