Help please taking Troll to Crystal Palace Site

I wondered if anyone could offer some advice re taking our Troll to the C & M club Crystal Palace site. We never drive to London from the North West but have a booking next week at Crystal Palace.

Put details onto AA Routemaster and it takes us across London - I wouldn't do this with the car never mind towing. Have looked at the map and will do the M25 anti-clockwise joining from either the M1 or M40 but I don't know the roads at all into Crystal Palace from here.

Has anyone any suggestions about what would be a good route for a car and van to get to the site from along the M25? Would be very grateful for any helpful suggestions

Hi from another Troll owner.

Using the M40 will help you avoid the Toll on the Dartford Crossing, onto the M25 at Junction 16 direction Gatwick, stay on until junction 7 where you turn off onto the M23/ A 23 direction Croydon (not Brighton), then follow the A23 you will pass Purley , then Croydon, and then use your sat nav it's only a few miles from here. A23 is the old London-Brighton road and is plenty wide enough for you, you shouldn't have any problems. It should take you on the A 212 up to Crystal Palace, look out for the old TV mast, it's right near there.Hope this is useful.

Have just come back from the Alpes Maritime , Switzerland and Italy with my Troll, if the car can get through so can you, be confident!!

Have a good trip.

Thanks Highmiler that's brilliant. Will get my map out and have a look.

Your trip sounds great. Just the kind of thing we intend looking at once my hips are sorted, possibly late summer 2018.

Not only do we share the Troll but we also drive a Skoda 2.0, ours is the Scout.

Cheers
