Terrific example of craftsmanship demonstrated in this picture. Strip falls short of wheel arch by over 1cm at both ends whilst the other side is perfect. Knocking off time fast approachhing perhaps? Who knows but shoddy work never the less.

The other was that the top fixing for the cooker side splash back came out on journeys. This was put back in at service but we noticed yesterday on returning from London that it was loose again. I will solve this myself, probably with some silicon. I see this as a very minor issue.

Yes, I've had the same issue - the clip is loose where it fits the wall and seems to have eroded the 'wallpaper' around the foot - not very good!

After my first trip in my new to me van (2015), I have noticed that the wooden units which make up the wardrobe and toilet area is very soft indeed and can easily be marked, scratched or dented. So care required!

Bought new Triton 430 beginning of August
First trip out
Touch lights coming on at random
Dealer changed two, awaiting delivery of four more replacements
2nd trip out
One locker door fell off during journey, rest all loose, wood cracked around screws on all upper locker doors.
Will be contacting Adventure Leisure on my return home.
Hope this is not a sign of things to come.
My 21 year old old Rapido Club never had any issues in ten years of hard usage.
They do not build them as well now.
Bought eriba for German build quality but now have my doubts.

Snap...
The washroom door of my 2016 Troll 540 completely fell off! Most of the overhead locker doors worked loose, the completely rubbish aluminium pole (to support the bed in its super-king size mode) bent in the middle after a few nights gentle use, the 2 BED corner steadies to support the middle of the bed in super-king size mode just kept falling off and so the bed would collapse! The locating 'lug' at the top of the washroom door instantly worked loose. I spent much time glueing broken matchsticks into the loose wood holes so that everything could be screwed back together.
Roll on 6 months and my 2017 Troll 540 (it's a long story) has the multifunction pull out bed with slatted base and its like comparing a Bentley to a Trabant in respect of the rubbish first Troll bed system. BUT...the washroom door locating 'lug' instantly worked loose (again), two of the overhead cupboard doors have worked loose, one of the touch-sensitive lights drove me sufficiently bonkers by constantly switching itself on that I ripped it out (wiring and all) at 0300 on one sleepless morning in the van. I found a screw sticking out of the nearside of the van's lower rail and the same in the washroom.
Nope, the build quality sure ain't what it used to be.
But I wouldn't be without it. In fact I absolutely love it, warts and all. I should imagine it's like running a classic Ferrari (loads of fettling) to then be able to take huge pride in the greatest range of caravans ever designed and built.
Plus, you have the very best group of people as owners to take advice from as and when things go wrong.
Stick with it Gramps, it'll possibly be the best decision you ever make!

Sounds like a repeat of our experiences Steve. In particular the bathroom door rubbish. Ours is a 2013 model and I have had to rehang it more than once. The hinges are pathetic and have been replaced by much stronger Hafele hinges as fitted in Lunar caravans (eBay from Highbridge Caravans).
The trim, split by the hinge screws of the overhead cupboards, is a known manufacturing fault and should have been replaced under warranty by the supplying dealership.
The wardrobe unit detached from the internal frame. Incorrect 12v isolation switch replaced. etc etc
A consolation is the feeling that the repairing and fettling may be better than the original.
We still love it!

I dont suppose sir has a code for the Hafele hinges, or a photo that I can trace though my Hafele catalogue.
I may be tempted to replace before an event occurs. Foresight better than hindsight etc

There you go.

It is marked 36A on the door side.

I hope you can see that it is much more substantial than the originals.
I know from experience that the flimsy original hinges sometimes broke but it was not immediately obvious so that the remaining ones had to bear more weight, increasing as other hinges broke sequentially.

Thank you. It would appear that Eriba have changed the hinges. On the bathroom door you now have 4 x cranked versions of those fitted to the overhead lockers.

First day on site for big holiday and I have already used the Araldite I brought along, "just in case".
Both parts of the top of bathroom door fixing have now been re-fitted. I hope this is the only fix of the holiday needed.

I spoke to soon. Araldite out again to re-fix screws in stay of seating locker just inside door on right hand side.
As much as I love my Eriba I am honestly starting to wonder if Hymer/Eriba realise what an absolute pile of unsuitable shite the plywood they are using is. This really is not good enough and does not bode well for the longevity we are used to.

That seating locker stay has had to be repaired on mine as well Colin. More than once!

An update: I wrote to Hymer and gave a long list of all the problems found in my and others Eribas regarding the drop in quality and asked them for their comments. I had an email reply and opened it expecting some detailed explanations. What I got was:- 'Take it to your dealer for repair. They will help you'

Perhaps they should market them for the DIY enthusiast.
