Have just received letter from Staysure concerning renewal of our multitrip insurance policy covering Europe. The premium last year was £55.90 cover for a couple. The premium this year for the same cover except we are a year older is £123.39 .
Called the hotline to enquire why the +100% increase but operative unable to give any reason ! Looking to see if we have any level of cover with Bank accounts, professional bodies etc.
What are other Eribanauts being charged and who are you with ? Was last years premium ridiculously low ? . Will go on comparison site to compare prices

Five star travel insurance (including same-day repatriation by private jet) is one of the many perks of our Coutts Platinum account.

As are two complimentary ladies' final centre court tickets at Wimbers, a free Fortnum's hamper at Royal Ascot and five days' use of the Burj Khalifa penthouse in the off season.

Good, init?

For anyone running off to sign up, unless you have a serious wadge in the bank, the annual fees will cost more than all that! And I thought they'd stopped the free travel insurance, perhaps just for new customers? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/08/28/montues-coutts-current-account-fee-to-increase-300-as-private-ba/

Worth going online with your company and putting your details in again.....I bet you it's cheaper. We did this and then phoned our travel insurance company and they matched this online price!!

We find the Nationwide Flex plus account good value at £13 a month it gives us travel insurance and car breakdown insurance and 3% interest on current account balance up to £2500. Depends on your circumstances but worth a look.

Triton 420GT and Suzuki S-Cross Diesel.
