Hi was wondering if anyone has replaced their shocks. My Troll has the
Original French shock absorbers on but recent servicing revealed rubbers gone and rust.
I want to replace with the correct Alko ones, has anyone replaced any and can give me advice as to
the correct ones for a 1000 kg chassis please.

I thought the 05 troll was a 1200 chassis.

1000kg was the standard axle. UK vans as part of the GT Diamond + pack from Lechdale came with the 1200kg axle.
Vans from other dealers at the time or mainland Europe imports would have the default 1000kg unless upgraded when originally ordered.
An easy way to identify from a distance is 1000kg have a 4 stud hub/wheel whilst the 1200kg have a 5 stud/hub wheel.

I'm not 100% sure but I think there were 2 types of chassis used at some stage, there should be a plate somewhere with the makers name on it?

Looking at their website they do sell them direct but its not the best website in the world so I will include a link to the contact page as well.

Possibly. I have digital brochures back to 2006 but none earlier.

For a single axle rating of between 901kg and 1300kg you'll need Al Ko Part No 601205, colour coded blue.

Yes that is what we have 4 stud 1000kg axle. How do you know if it's a Euro axle or not?

I would go with what that nice man John says. He knows his stuff.
a 1000kg axle whether supplied by a UK on mainland Europe dealer should be exactly the same.
