A lady off Eribafolk Facebook has recently returned from a European trip that was blighted with problems.
One of the main problems was that the alloy wheel on her Eriba cracked causing tyre deflation. After an extensive search she managed to get it welded but it failed after 200 miles causing the tyre to rapidly deflate and severe damage to inside the wheel arch.
Has anyone heard of this before?

Just a thought, is it possible that they weren't original, and had been added by a previous owner who used car wheels [which wont take the same load] instead of caravan wheels, Dave

It could be just down to the road surface, pot holes are known to damage/crack car alloys,. The Caravan suspension is very rudimentary and they don't soak up the bumps like on a car.
