Going out on the bus in 30 minutes, to catch the film Victoria and Abdul at the new cinema in West Quay, Southampton, then round to Chinese restaurant in the High Street, we haven't been to - well since I was working and comes highly recommended by Chinese we know.

So, what did you do while Carole went to watch the film?? and have a Chinese

The film was very good and not a women's thing which I feared. The Chinese was booked out to a private function so we went to a favourite tiny Italian restaurant and enjoyed that, getting the10pm bus home.

It's Music in the City day on Saturday which was splendid last year so we'll do it again, after I do some Urban Sketching with a group, link up with Carole, enjoy varied music in many venues, then try the Chinese.
