Installing a leisure battery

I’m considering installing a leisure battery in our 2006 Triton 430. I’ve been told that there are several ways of doing this, and it can be done quite easily by a reasonably competent DIYer.
Does anyone have any useful info regarding doing such work?
Thanks,
Russ

I think Rustybaby's post regarding installing a leisure battery is in a forum where replies are not allowed, so I've started this thread hoping that get him what he wants..

I did an upgrade on my electrice a while back and some of the aspects that I touch on may be of help..

If you search for a thread entitled "Question for Eriba Electrical experts??" you should find it - posting a link to a thread within the forum is something that has defeated me!!

Well spotted Hugh.
