Just returned from replacing the top cover for the Truma S3002 Heater following our recent visit to NEC Camping and Caravanning Show. Upon returning to the Van after being at show thought I would listen to a little music using a heavy Bluetooth speaker. In my wisdom put speaker on top of wardrobe door and advised Mrs Eribanut not to open door. She advised me it was not wise to position speaker there but I assured her it would be OK. Some time later I needed to use the outside facilities and yes you guessed it................stood up to get my coat out of wardrobe ..........Crash down came the speaker bounced of top of fire and onto floor. The plastic top didn't stand a chance !
So replacement sort and following delay in delivery due to bad weather it is now fitted. Best £55 I ever spent

A cautionary tale Eribanut.that others of us can hopefully learn from.

We have a lovely little DAB radio that we bought for the Troll and yes, guess where I put it - partly because there is a three pin plug socket on top of the wardrobe.

It is no consolation to you but I will be extra careful now to ensure that is well away from the door on the wardrobe. MikeT

Probably no danger if it's small, just remember to remove it before you put the top down!

Good point Magpie - we nearly did once after an overnight stay when we were in a rush. Moral is don't be in a rush with your Eriba! MikeT
