It's my grandson's 4th birthday today and he appeared in his parents bedroom this morning in a tearful mood. When asked what was wrong he replied " I'm not as big as I thought I was going to be"

Our 5 year old granddaughter visited us last week and was a bit upset as she'd forgotten the book she had written for us.

We asked if she could tell us what the book was about and she replied "Once upon a time there was a lady and a man". When we asked what was next she replied that was it as she only had a small bit of paper.

We have a family tale about our son when he was about 5, he's now 35.

One day he was playing in our back garden and came rushing indoors to tell his mum that the side gate was open 'And you'd better close it quick, cos you know what I'm like'.

'I've got nothing to do on this hot afternoon
but to settle down and write you a line.'

Kids, you've got to love them! We have been looking after our eldest grandson this week, Mum flew out to the Falklands on Sunday and Dad had to work away for the week, anyway the upshot of it is I now know more about Pokemon then I ever wanted to. My grandson is labouring under the misapprehension that I am interested and has spent the week explaining it all to me.

You cant make it up. Grandson n°1 was playing on the beach with the granddaughter of a friend. They were 3 at the time. Our Harry turned to the little girl and said "I'm going to marry you". She retorted "you can't. You haven't got my phone number" and stalked off.
