I bought the Mapole, pack of 4 for less than £10. They seem well made, even though they do rattle around making a noise as you drive off.

Milenco do fancy stacking ones, but it's not worth it.. Just carry a few discs of wood if you need to make any height up.

If our feet haven't reached the floor we've either found something lumpy and suitable in a hedge bottom, whittled it from a fallen tree or nicked it from someone else's pitch while they weren't looking.

We went to the trouble of removing the pads from the feet of our PuckL before we sold it. Fitted them to the Triton which was abandoned smashed up in Germany, too busy checking everyone was in one piece to think of removing the pads, now we have bare feet on our Troll.

We have the Kampa Jumbo feet. We keep them in the gas locker and position them each time we pitch. Is it a good idea to just attach them permanently with the pin?

On our first van 2003-6, we had round jack pads that we kept in the gas locker. Since then we have had the type that are loosely held in place on the foot with the plastic pin/s supplied. These wobble around and make a noise that you can here when manouvering but have never worked loose or shown any sign of doing so. They are always there, you do not need to go looking for them/store them and it does not matter if they get dirty.

Just fixed mine on with the pins. Yes they do rattle around a bit. These Kampa feet have some flexibility in the pin position, but I still couldn't get lined up with the proper holes in the Eriba feet. I've had to put the pins through the 'U' shape of the feet. They can't go anywhere (he hopes).

I bought some from AL when I picked up the van, nothing special, mine flap around a bit too and the single pin as you say just went through the 'U' foot. They work OK.
