Electrical Connector - What is it ?

Hi,

As the temps have finally drifted up to a giddy 10°C this weekend I've been doing some work on our 2015 Triton 430 !

Changed the leaky cracked kitchen tap spout for a new one and then have fitted an electric radiator to the side of the kitchen cabinet.

I had planned to chop into a cable under the sink , adding a junction box to run a cable to a new socket under the sink but have found what appears to be a spare plug which I can plug onto if I can find the correct plug/connector to buy.

Here is a picture below, so what is the connector type and anyone know where I can buy one ?

I believe they are called Wago Winsta modular plug and play connectors.
If you cannot get them the other option would be to lift the panel in the bottom of your undersink cupboard. Underneath this you can break into the power circuit and from this run a cable to supply the socket for your heater. This is what I did when I fitted an Adax VP11 electric panel heater in the location you describe.

Hi Colin,

I am fitting the exact same radiator as you after reading your posts and seeing your photos and thought it looked very neat.

Just though picing up one of those plugs was an elegant solution.

There appears to be different types of Wago Winsta (Mini/Midi) and their website is down at the moment.

Has anyone else used these connectors and know exactly which version of Winsta Wago they are ?

This connector has turned up of Ebay and its exactly the right thing for plugging onto the spare connection under the sink in our 2015 Triton.

Just need to finish off the wiring at the socket end for plugging in the electric radiator installed on the kitchen side panel side panel just inside the main door.

The connector is a WAGO 770-133 PLUG, WINSTA MIDI, 3P, WHITE

Thanks to Colin for his help in identifying.

Last one in the UK, should have a remote thermostat which was lost so paid £25 delivered. Just press a small button next to the leds for manual on then turn the dial on the side to control. Thanks again for all your help Colin

Thank you for this, I have just used one to add another socket [230V] using the blank 'way' in the area on top of the fridge, £4.69 Ebay delivered in 48hrs.

If doing this on a 2016/7 320, be aware that the heat deflector is both screwed to the upper part of the interior space and the top [lid] of the fridge unit. Thanbk you, Eriba, for making things doubly difficult. I managed by propping it up far enough to feed the cable down beside the fridge with the 'top' propped up on a screwdriver. Had I not had the heads-up on the connector, which simply clicked inplace, it would have beenvery much more difficult.

Interesting, where did you add the additional socket out of interest? Any pics always good to see.
