Perfect, I'll have more pictures of other awnings and set ups for you in the very near future.
Yes please, that would be very nice of you. A few more photos of your Superpuck would be welcome too.
The picture galleries are for the use of all members of Eribafolk so we would be grateful to anyone who has some photographs that they feel will be of interest to other members.

I refer you to post #3.

I have one of the slotted brackets for you to attach to your van if you would like it.
Yes please .......................I'm a little bit worried about drilling into the rail but I could take one of the other loops off to see how its done.

the rail is easy its the metal structure that's tough (found 2 drills bits still in holes on awning rail must of happen when built), id remove the hermiz plastic screw cover strip, to drill the holes, the aluminium rail has a centre line add some sealer to holes
the hermiz strip can be refitted for the screw through
some pictures in blog of what is behind rail
good luck

Been looking at your blog ............some interesting stuff there my worry is that I might miss the steel frame with the drill, I must get some stainless self tappers and the right sized drill and some sealer before I do the job.
Many thanks for the information

Hope Pictures help rather than cause headache
ye may be lucky and the holes have already been made, just hidden by the Hermiz cover screw strip.
Although could use an existing awning rail retaining screw hole, depending on the placement of bracket, or another option could be to attach a fixing to the awning material.

Dug out this topic from last year after rooting around in the garage.
Got this awning that came with the Triton out for another look ..............threaded it in the awning rail (wrong side) for a better look.

The sides zip out
DSCF3095.JPG - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)
It is a Vanderhorn sun canopy, there is no front and no zip for fitting one, it is very similar to the one in the picture cruickie posted only without the skirt that fits the base of the van.
As I said it came from Holland with the Triton but looking at the brackets on the Triton rail I am not convinced it belongs with it or has ever been used on it.
It also seems a little short for a Triton
DSCF3100.JPG - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)
And may fit a Pan/Familia.............
It is no use to me and wastes space in an already overcrowded garage I also can't be bothered to play around with posting it so if anyone in or nearby to Suffolk is interested in coming by to collect it they can have it for 20 quid if not it could well end up going to the local tip.
There is a small rust mark on the roof (on the outside)

Otherwise its in pretty good nick for a second hand one
Maybe the dealer put the wrong one in ............but being in Holland and over 18 months ago I don't think I will bother asking.
I already have 2 sun canopies and a porch awning so have no need for this one (specially as it doesn't fit)
All the poles are there (steel plastic coated...... some of the coating is peeling off) and a small bag of pegs.
I have put it back in the garage in case anyone is interested...........at that price there are no guarantees and if you can't use it pass it on .....I don't want it back

This is no longer available, I attacked it with a big pair of scissors this afternoon with the idea of turning it into something similar to an Isabella Shadow.
Now all I need is some awning piping and some strong thread, (I already have some poles)
Bought some plastic eyelets this afternoon.
Hopefully it will come out something like my old home made one.

Broke the last needle for my Jones 1911 sewing machine half way through doing it and they are no longer available so she will have to go to the sewing machine heaven.
Bought a new small one to replace her and finished the job after a fashion, nowhere near as good but I rarely use one anyway so it will do.

She has already gone now, i looked everywhere for needles for her, bought 2 packs described as fitting 99% of machines but no luck all the shanks were too big where they fit in the sewing head.
I was sorry to see her go,
