Errors in Eriba ads

As I'm currently advertising my own WWB for sale and searching for a suitable Eriba to buy I patrol the online ads on a regular basis.
Yesterday evening I noticed two new ads, one an '07 550 on EBay and the other a '12 430 on Autotrader. Both were supposed to be private sales but both had errors in the information that you'd think an owner would know about.
The 550's ad twice stated that the van was built in and came from Germany, when it would have been made in France and have a plate on it stating it was from Hymer, France. The 430 had pics showing that it was a lounge model but the ad stated it was 'fixed bed'. Either the person drafting the ad didn't understand what 'fixed bed' meant or were being very slapdash in setting up the content.

I think this is the big difference with Eriba owners rather than just a caravan for a holiday , most are enthusiasts of the brand very similar to a classic car owner, .
Hopefully Eriba owners will have enough knowledge to sniff out the scammers or those just trying their luck at making a dishonest buck.
Plus there are dedicated forums to gleam information to avoid buying a lemon or from a lemon...

All the caravan forums I've looked at seem to spend all their time arguing about whether a Hyundai Tuxedo is better than a Kia Ora or having interminable discussions about pmneuminatic jockey wheel tyres.

Well today CT has:
A debate on having stuff delivered to CC sites
What to do about tar spots on front windows
What somebody thinks about their new Bailey Segovia
The interminable discussion about running fridges on gas
Which type of VW Tiguan is best
Discussion about Towcar of the Year
Recommendations for a Buccaneer towcar
The Tesla crash and fire
etc, etc.

It is also worth being aware - as I'm sure you are - that Eribas are regularly the subject of scam ads on Ebay (other on-line auctions are available) and these are often noticed by folks on this forum. Incorrect details copied and pasted from various ads are often a good indicator that something ain't right.

Mind you some things in ads can be quite unintentional and maybe down to a lack of care.
As a for instance, a new Purplebricks ad appeared on Rightmove a couple of days ago. It came up on a search of within a mile of our house, which was fine, but the headline said something like 'Detached bungalow, Crewe' and I know it's in Madeley Heath which is actually 11 miles south of Crewe. True it has a Crewe postcode but if you wanted a major town to 'tag' it too, it's only 4 miles west of Newcastle under Lyme and 6 miles west of Stoke on Trent. So whoever wrote the ad either took a lazy option and/or had no real appreciation of the local area.

SDA, found a good one for you:
For sale: 2009 Eriba 540 (the big one). It's a GT so goes much faster than the others. Has a pop-up roof and is apparently built like an aeroplane. Huge washroom with full length bath, which is a very rare option. You won't find a better example. £14,500 OVNO.
Caravan can be viewed at Warwick Services if you give me 40 minutes notice. It's my brother's van, but he's in Australia on a business trip.
