Getting ready for our first of the season - off next week to Lychett Minster. Cover off today, no mild dew, no bad odours, lovely and clean as I left it. Every thing working except as usual gas fridge but that's normal and as usual we will just keep trying it until it fires up. Don't expect to use it till August on a pub site with no EHU...a hash weekend event. That's at The Blue Ship, Billingshurst. Anyone know it?

Upon removing the covers we had the normal light stain of camourflage colour on the roof which instantly washed off with water. Probably green fabric dust from an 8 year old cover?

However, a 6" strip of 2" duct tape "glued" itself to the roof under the cover. It took almost an hour to pull it off and get rid of the glue mark It must have somehow peeled itself off a hole in the cover that the garage mice ate 2 years ago, and decided to stick itself to the fibreglass roof. S**t on a blanket is far easier to remove.

For removal of sticky stuff without damage. When white spirit or Meths fails to do the job, then WD40 usually comes up trumps.

Our main issue, now madam is back from WI to give me help, was folding the cover to get it back in its bag, Took us 3 efforts all different but it's now in the garage loft.

So as not to feel guilty when others are working....... I have removed my cover as well and it seems that the hailstones have cut through in various places, so a new one will have to be purchased. I think the one with zips at the back will be beneficial.... see lots of you at Lytchett Manor 🥃

We to took cover off to day too. Last year we used a thin decorates plastic dust sheet to cover the roof before fitting the cover - result- no green algae to clean off! All now ready for Lytchett Manor next week. Looking forward to meeting old and new members. Colin and Lynn.

All this talk of starting the season etc is getting to me.

Here I am with a gurt great Bailey Rimini stuck on the drive, all turned out ready to be inspected and not a tickle from anyone wanting to buy.

On the obverse of that not an '08/'09 540 to be heard of anywhere.

The Yeti hasn't even got a towbar fitted as the Rimini is 300kg too heavy at MTPLM, indeed it's even too heavy when totally empty.

Doh!

We took the cover off today. Bit of a struggle to get it in the bag but managed eventually.

See you all at Lytchett Manor

Well, that's the car more than half loaded. Just waiting for the freezer and the coats and hats

The Eriba is almost loaded as well. It's nice to have a bit of fine weather so that we can take our time.

Fine weather, you must have been paying your rates. It's done nothing but rain here for the last week.Only half loaded and the list of things I must remember to put in the Eriba seems to be getting longer not shorter. I'm doing something wrong

I is totally jealous stuck here trying to sell an empty WWB, with a garage that does a fair impression of Roger's boot, with all the stuff from t'van waiting, waiting, waiting for an Eriba on't drive.

How do others use their Eriba wardrobe? Do you still use it as hanging space or have you shelved it out?

We have resorted to 5 stackable plastic boxes with lids. 3 big ones and 2 small ones (that fit down the side). Although these keep the clothes tightly contained and also make loading and off loading the van easy, like a suitcase, they don't prevent creasing.

OK for a Welshman however as a shirt in Welsh is called a crys During our camping days we used these:
