Yes know it isn't spring yet, but it may be somewhere.
Out of interest, over winter I have had a rubber extension lead out to the van up through the floor vent at the bed end.
That has 2 USB desk-fans attached pointing fore and aft. I was running off the mains socket with the van on charge but figured that was not a good idea for around 6 months!
All cushions, fabric of any sort removed. Net curtains open a bit and hung inboard of the wires so they don't trap air against the windows. All lockers drawer and cupboards open.
Fans running 14 hours a day on timer.
Parking brake off, moved a couple of times to spread tyre load.
No condensation, no probs even during the warm damp autumn. Important bit - no heat, just keeping the air moving all the time.

Just about to take our Troll out from its winter cover. Been in to check perhaps once a week(ish) and let some air in. Was going to take the upholstery out but decided against doing that and also against putting any heat in. Everything seemed OK last week so we will see how it is in the next few days. Lots of bird poo on the cover though.
However I am really cross with myself for not moving to alter tyre position as I intended.
I am slightly put off as I have a clamp on each wheel and one of them is really heavy duty and I have to lie on the floor to get it off. Don't seem to have had too many days when I felt I had the energy and motivation since the start of the year and the drive hasn't been wet or covered in snow. The clamps are necessary as we live in an area where some other people like to take ownership of your van and the police show little interest in catching the said villains.MikeT

Our van stays immobile in a barn for pretty much half of the year and there's never been anything to suggest any kind of problem. We might go and visit it once or twice over the winter (usually to look for something we can't find at home), and I'll check the tyre pressures if I remember.
If (and I reckon it's pretty big if) there is any slight flat spotting, normal tyre flexing when in use will sort it out within a few hundred yards.
Tyres are much better made now than in the days of narrow crossplies, goggles and tonneau covers.

I use tyre savers like in the link, I had an old MG car that developed a flat spot, it chipped all my teeth when it got past 40mph.. You wont notice if the van develops a flat spot whilst dragging it, although it will probably shake your fridge to bits if its over the wheel..
One of the ways to check if its got a flat spot is to raise the van and spin the wheel. I think the chances of developing a flat spot are very low if you keep the tyre pressure correct and change the tyres out at the prescribed intervals. Personally I have experienced it which is why I use the tyre saver cradle plus a wheel cover to protect from the UV rays as a belt and braces.

The best bit about motoring in the good old days was asking your female passenger to donate one of her stockings when the fan belt broke.
Pity the occasion never arose.

That's because you were never as good looking as Paddy Hopkirk.

I tried using a pair of tights once - broke my heart as there was nothing wrong with them. Only lasted about a mile, but got to a garage, bought a fan belt and then had another struggle getting that on Very long time ago in a Morris Minor. Joined the AA after that!
I've never used a fanbelt to hold my tights up.
