Carole's 10K run this morning

She has done it many times, It is sponsored by B&Q who kicked off their business down here years back. Today there was a record entry of about 3000 runners today and it is a major run now, well organised at a big sports venue in Eastleigh with road closures etc. I always support her and in awe that she still challenges herself, but I have never taken part, not seeing any fun in just running a distant. We don't know her time yet as that's all done through things on their shoes and will be electronically measured and published in the local press in a couple of days, but she aims at the hour mark, not bad for a lady in her advanced years, The winners do it in about 26minutes. Got some photos of her and not sure can load them in here, will have to read a sniffy or whatever they call them.

No, not bad at all. If it were me they'd have all packed up long ago and the buses would be running again by the time I arrived.
