Such sad news. We only met Derek 2 years ago just after we got our Puck L - he was a lovely man, and so friendly and welcoming.

Our thoughts go out to Carol.

Such sad news, me and Lorraine only met him on 2 Eriba meets but we soon found out that he had a great sense of humour and he was so skilful at art, a true gent. Our thoughts go out to Carol and the family. Rest in peace Derek.

So sad to go when so much life to live. I only met this leaned gentleman once, but must say I was looking forward to enjoying his company again this summer.
May I suggest we raise a toast in memory of him when we meet this summer in Cambridgeshire.

This news has just reached us in Spain. Sat in the sunshine but the world has dimmed a little. We met Derek and Carole several times. He was always such a gentleman, so kind and interested in everyone. He fought back from so many health setbacks that he seemed indestructible. We were so looking forward to seeing him and Carole again in France next month. Our thoughts are with Carole and his family, there is a hole in our world, theirs must be devastated. All our love, Julie and Neil.

So sorry to hear the news of Derek...he was the first person we ever met with an Eriba. Thinking of Carole and the family.
