Sherlock Holmes would easily be able to pick out an Eriba owner - the tell-tale head scars and lumps and bumps caused by repeatedly forgetting to duck as you enter and leave your pride and joy and over the lower-lying seating area. Here’s a practical remedy created by my wife Amanda - just string bunting using small pennants over danger zones to act as reminder to duck! (see photos). She has used fine Liberty lawn to add a touch of class. 4F38895F-17E0-4743-ACC4-C6EDBBDA6ADB.jpeg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)66AFC355-2569-49D0-9205-B33EE7D313CC.jpeg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)76A78EDB-811B-4998-B18C-F855253B28A8.jpeg - Bild entfernt (keine Rechte)

Yep, had ours less than a month & I have the scars to prove it, I'm no giant at 5' 6" & being follically challenged doesn't help although, I can at least walk under the roof when it's down & Mrs A is okay as being only 4'11' she can manage the whole van & the door.

Luckily, it shouldn't be too much of an issue in the 554 with the french bed, the low roof is only accessible over the 'U' shaped seating area & the table takes up most of that, however, I've already donated a healthy piece of scalp to the light fitting so that is getting replaced by a slim LED, anyone want a opaque marbled glass fruit bowl?

We had to do a similar exercise in the M/home we have just sold as the cab area was considerably lower than the lounge. Only did it once, jammed a thin strip of material under a bit of trim so it hung down in the middle of the gap, which fortunately was quite narrow being between the front seats.
