We did our first trip last week to Grassington, I got all the stuff down from the loft that was stored over the winter and we were off.
We got to site in good time and got the van pitched up, all was going well until I pulled the Porch awning from the boot of the car and the Mrs Poptop said don't bother with that we have forgotten the chairs.... Dooh!

To be honest we managed ok with out the awning which has got me thinking shall we just take the sun shade next time

Anyway what's the worst thing you have forgotten?

The Lioness left all my clothes at home (except what I was wearing)
I picked up an amazing wardrobe from charity shops for our two week
holiday

believe it or not, an in date credit card/bank card.
luckily the trip from and to, Yorkshire and Somerset and holiday didn't need..
Although that year, several drivers decided our side of road was preferable to their side and some pretty nifty breathing in and verge climbing was needed. We then drove with lights on all the time day and night to save further washing..

Fortunately I realised before it was used and there were facilities on site.

On a previous occasion in a motorhome I removed the cassette for emptying without telling Mrs P.

Not relevant to Eriba, because we haven't forgotten anything yet! but with the campervan we were happily driving off a site waving to all those friendly (some who we hadn't met) peopled waving us good bye and just at the point of driving down a branchy leafy tree track when we realised the waves were not goodbye but because our popup roof was still elevated.

The year before last at Two Mills, Norfolk we watched as a campervan started off with the EHU connected. Luckily he heard our shouts and stopped just as it was going taut.

Leaving Bunree cc site Mark forgot the electricity post was on the offside of our car and he practically knocked it to the ground. Over a thousand pounds worth of damage to the car and not a word was spoken all the way home from Oban

When we were still tent camping I forgot to pack any jumpers or coats. Not surprisingly the weather turned cold and we all took to going to bed very early to keep warm!!

When I went on my first trip with the Puck I forgot the remote for the TV ............you can't tune it in without the remote so I did a 50 mile round trip to go home to get it.
